Writing Nature Workshop: Fuels Reduction - Transforming Burnout Through Service and Writing

Saturday, July 19th from 10am-1pm at the Mount Shasta Community Garden

Join the Mount Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center for a nature writing workshop where we will reduce fuels through words, community, and giving back to the Earth. Workshop leaders Evonne Ellis, MFA in Creative Writing, and Mount Shasta Ecology Center’s Community Education Coordinator, Kayla Marie will guide us through prompts around reciprocity and transforming fuels that we will reflect on and share as a community. As a part of our workshop, we will participate in a fuels reduction service project, removing fire fuels from Shastice Park behind the Mt Shasta Community Garden. No writing experience necessary!

All ages are welcome to this free event.
