1st Field Trip: Dunsmuir - Start & end at City Park (with walk to Tauhindauli)

2nd Field Trip: Mount Shasta - Elsa Rupp & Sisson Museum

Join First 5 Siskiyou and Mt Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center for 2 Summer Field Trips for young kids and their families at no cost!

Each field trip would focus on the senses - sight, hearing, touch, smell/taste and what I call our 6th sense - nature awareness. Each outing will feature a storytime, sensory walks and activities, games, and nature journaling to help us awaken our observation of the natural world. All activities can be done as a family and will be designed with a range of ages in mind. We'll explore our local ecology, learn about plants and animals, and how everything is interconnected.
